Sometimes, it’s okay not to be perfect. In fact, often times, being perfect can hurt you. When applying for a job it’s easy to get so worked up that you can’t get started. This reminds me of one of my top 5 rules of cover letters – “you” needs to be your favorite word. It’s great to talk about yourself, but remember to talk about what you can do for the person interviewing you, and for the company.
